GIUSEPPE GENON (IT) Polytechnic University of Turin - Department of Environment, Land and Infrastructure Engineering GIUSEPPE GENON is full professor in Pollutant Dynamics and Sanitary Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin. His resarch activity focuses on the environmental impact of energy production systems and waste disposal, on innovative technologies for primary and waste water treatment and on the modeling and assessment of biomass gasification systems.

CLAUDIO ROCCHIETTA (IT) BioFuels Partners s.r.l., European Biodiesel Board CLAUDIO ROCCHIETTA is the founder of BFP (BIOFUELS PARTNERS srl ), an independent strategic advisory firm with a diversified world-wide track record in the vegetable oils, conventional and advanced Biofuels and bioenergy sectors, acting as business consultant on all key issues , including legislation, feedstock origination, technology selection, sustainability certification, market introduction as well as business feasibility analysis and project evaluation. He has more than 35 years of international operational/general management experience in agribusiness (grain processing / oil seeds processing, edible vegetable oils) and Biofuels (FAME, waste biodiesel, 1st and 2nd generation ethanol). He currently sits on the Board of EBB (European Biodiesel Board), after having been one of the founders and its President for 5 year. |

LAURA SOKKA (FI) VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland LAURA SOKKA is senior scientist in the Energy Systems team at VTT. She's expert in environmental, particularly climate, impact analysis and life cycle assessment of energy systems and pulp and paper products. Her recent work has also focused on the assessment of forest carbon flows, supporting the EU in the implementation of the SetPlan and bioenergy policy, and life cycle assessment of different CCS options. |

LORENZO DI LUCIA (IT) LORENZO DI LUCIA is researcher in the area of transport biofuel with expertise in policy and governance evaluations, socio-technical transitions, and modelling of ecosystem services and human well-being impacts of a variety of biofuel production pathways both in developed and developing countries. |
